Winter Causebox Review

A subscription service that gives back

I have been a Causebox subscriber for about a year now and have been impressed with the quality of product that they send out. Each box has some similarities:

  • Original artwork

  • An adorable post card that can easily be framed as a work of art

  • A catalog providing information and backstories on the products you receive (Bonus: There are some coupons in there!)

  • A absolutely fabulous box that can be recycled or used for storage

The products that came this month were each selected in theme with winter/the holidays. The total value of the box was over $300, which is a typical value for these boxes. Lets dive into what products came.

Cozy Convertible Mittens by SiiZU ($33): These mittens are both incredibly soft and fashionable. The grey and cream color combination goes with almost any outfit making them perfect for everyday wear. The best part is that these were sustainably made from 100% recyclable materials! Sustainable fashion is the future people!!

Imani Collective Knit Blanket in Cream ($120): This blanket is adorable, not to mention perfectly cozy. It also comes in a slate color but I received the cream. This blanket is completely handwoven by women artisans no Jaipur, India.

VITIV Daily Hair Vitamin ($30): This treatment is frizz combating, heat protecting, and nourishing for all hair types. Plus, it contains no funky silicons or nasty chemicals making it great for your hair and the planet!

Machete Holiday Hair Clip Set ($31): These clips are so sleek and classic. Handcrafted in France and Italy these clips are perfect for both everyday and a special event. Never hurts to have cute hair accessories! They also would make an amazing gift to a friend or family member.

Whitney Kerney Mugs ($35): A set of mugs that were custom shaped and feature a design by Whitney Kerney. Completely stunning. I was in love with the blush and cream colors that came with a beautiful abstract line design. These mugs have a great cause in that all proceeds go to support the Hubbard House who help save and change lives of those who have endured domestic violence.

Derma E Hydrating Night Cream ($29.50): Derma E was one of the first beauty brands to lay out an ethical mission for themselves. Their transparency in their ingredients and developmental practices make them one of the foremost socially-responsible, cruelty-free brands. The company also gives back to organizations like Vitamin Angels and Keep America Beautiful. So in addition to ALL of that, they making amazing products. This night cream provides ample hydration, reduces appearance of lines and wrinkles, and helps to balance your complexion.

Overall, I 100% recommend Causebox for anyone considering a subscription box. The products are always quality and you are giving back to so many causes and organizations through your subscription.
